![]() ![]() They are not treating the product like a car. If your bike is down due to a parts stock issue this is a recreational vehicle. It's that from what I see Polaris is a company making hobby vehicles. This is not an issue of money but reliability. This would not be an issue with say a Harley. I want to be an owner but the horror stories of waiting for parts, and the fact that you need software to do an alignment feels like it's locked down. I'll see what they say about my concerns. I have an appointment with my dealer on Friday. I only have space for 1 vehicle so this may not be for me. Fun is awesome but the space to store it is occupied by a vehicle I've had for 8 years and went to the shop once for 3 days to replace the drive train when the transmission blew. ![]() Plus if it does have to go to the dealer and it takes 4 months for a part, I'm stuck making a payment on something that will not get me to work. Now I could get it and see what happens, but potentially it very realistically could take 4 months for all or any 1 of them to be addressed. The headlights going out as I drive is a show stopper. Second the SS I'm looking at looks to have 6 bulletins that need to be addressed as it sits on the show room floor. My understanding is Polaris is saying I can't have the ECU update unless I do end up in a dangerous situation. Say I were in an intersection or sitting on a train track. A situation that potentially be a safety issue. ![]() There is a ECU update that would address the engine stalling as the SS comes to a stop. ![]()
